Biography
Born on October 3, 1954 in Freiburg.
In 1970 Reinhard Maier begins his training as a goldsmith at the Goletz Goldsmith.
In 1974 business goes bad because of the oil crisis. He then learns the profession of dental technician.
Between 1974 and 1978 Reinhard exercises this profession, but dedicates his spare time to his true passion, jewelry.
October 5, 1987: after passing his master goldsmith examination, he opens his own business in the flourishing district of Freiburg-Landwasser and manages to turn his passion into his profession.
From that time forward, he has continued his training and built his business. His wife, whom he married in 1978, heads up the office and advises clients.
After working successfully as a freelancer for nearly 20 years, he moved to Ibiza, his favorite island, with his wife and youngest daughter. The atmosphere of this island is providing new momentum for creativity in his craft.
